FAQs
Please read the following FAQs before using the contact form below.
Please note: www.lagguitars.co.uk is a United Kingdom based website - operated by UK Distributor of LAG Guitars, Barnes and Mullins.
Q. Can I buy directly from http://www.lagguitars.co.uk/ or Barnes & Mullins?
A. No, I’m afraid you can’t buy direct. We have a network of independent music stores across the UK who commit to stock a certain level of LAG Guitars. That way you can find the models you are looking for closer to home and test before you buy. You can find your local retailer here.
Q. Can I order Spare Parts from you directly?
A. We are not able to supply spare parts directly. However, by contacting your local UK main dealer, you can request spare parts which will be ordered directly from Barnes & Mullins Ltd and administered by the store. Non-UK residents should contact the distributor of LAG Guitarsin their relevant country. Please visit www.lagguitars.com or www.lagguitars.fr to find your local distributor.
Q. Warranty Claims / Faulty Goods.
A. Barnes & Mullins can only answer queries relating to products purchased in the UK.
As with all retail purchases, your contract of sale is directly with the store that you purchased the product from. So, in the event of a warranty claim or the need of a repair, you should contact your local main dealer – preferably the retailer from which you bought the instrument. To claim under warranty, you will need a copy of your original purchase receipt.
Where a product requires repair or replacement under warranty, most likely the product will be returned to our technicians who will assess and report back to the store, who in turn will advise you of the next steps.
For repairs outside of warranty terms, again your local main dealer will be able to offer advice and a possible fix for the issue using a local specialist. In the event that it needs our input or intervention, the product will be returned to our technicians who will assess the problem and report back to the store with regard to charges that would be incurred by the service department as well as the expected timeframe.
Q. How can I become a retailer of LAG Guitars?
A. Registered UK / Irish music stores can apply for a trade account with Barnes and Mullins Ltd in order to buy and stock LAG Guitars. Our terms and conditions state that only physical retail stores – i.e. those with retail showrooms – can obtain trade account status. We do not trade with Internet-only retailers. Please contact our UK sales office on 01691 652449 – or use the contact form below.
Q. Artist Endorsements.
A. We are asked many times every day about artist endorsements, and as I’m sure you will understand, we are not able to offer many endorsements. We are only able to consider UK-based bands or artists. If you would like to enquire, please use the contact form below. Our Artist Liaison will answer your query as soon as possible. However, we are always happy to hear from any musician who owns a LAG Guitar and has feedback to give, or would like to be featured as part of our Artist Gallery.
Q. Can I be a international distributor for LAG Guitars?
A. As we are only the UK Distributor for LAG Guitars, we cannot appoint international distributors. Please contact LAG Guitars' parent company in France, Algam. You can find them through www.lag.fr
