A native of Huntington, Indiana, Denny currently calls Nashville home. Jiosa is an active figure on the Nashville scene as session musician, composer, producer and arranger. He has garnered Grammy nominations for three of the four albums he engineered and played on for contemporary gospel artist Yolanda Adams. His production/engineering and soloing work has appeared on recordings for jazz sax player Kirk Whalum, "Take 6" and Phillip Baily to name a few. In 2003 he completed writing and producing a lullaby project for Panda Music, featuring Crystal Gayle.

His four previous CD's "Moving Pictures", "Inner Voices", “Jazzberry Pie” and "Among Friends" were all NAC and Smooth Jazz chart toppers at #10, #5, #20, and #20 respectively. His music is often featured on in air flights for American Airlines, United Airlines, and Korean Airlines. Adding to the stunning accomplishments of his four 1201music releases, the tune "Lights of the City" from "Inner Voices" won the SESAC National Performance Activity Award for the most NAC single airplay of any song that year. Denny's music was featured for the second time on United Airlines in air flight for the months of November and December 2002. His latest release “body2body" received rave reviews and remained on the Smoothjazz and the Jazzweek charts for several months. It also landed on the Jazzweek Top 100 chart for 2003 and is still receiving airplay world wide!

Denny's music has a wide appeal as his latest CD also debuted at number 68 on the New Age charts for the month of October. His diverse and compelling music is respected and played by many "straight ahead" stations as well. He is one of the few artists who have successfully crossed over to 3 instrumental formats.

"body to body" was also featured on AIR FORCE ONE for the month of November 2002!

Denny’s career includes a long history of live performance. You may have seen him playing on stage with Kirk Whalum, jamming with Steve Winwood or touring in the smash Broadway musical “Pumpboys and Dinette’s”.

His band includes world class musicians such as Chester Thompson (Genesis, Santana) on drums; Chris Kent (Take 6, Larry Carlton ) on bass; Glen Caruba (Jimmy Buffet, Glen Frey) on percussion; Hollie Farris (James Brown) on trumpet; Jeffrey Scott Wills (Take 6, Donna Summer) on sax; Kenny Zarider ( Wilfredo Reyes, Nestor Torres ) on keys.

His incredible talent as a composer, soloist and performer, both in the theatrical and musical arenas, is evident in his electrifying stage show.
